" Crust " means that the leather was tanned and dyed , but has no other finish (eg not polished or coated) . This means that the leather is permeable , soft and natural: beautiful - but slightly more sensitive than a fish leather with a finish .
Salmon Leather has, in relation to the size of the fish, relatively small, regular scales and is mostly obtained from us by the Nanai company that offers not only exceptional good quality and beautiful colors but also places special emphasis on sustainability and ecological aspects .
The catfish has no scales - the leather is evenly smooth and has a characteristic long, fine fin at the bottom.
Carp leather has quite large, irregular scales.
Trout leather has small , fine scales and is rather a rarity among fish leathers.
